Not many people are aware of the fact that footbal was initially played only on the streets or in the villages. But its craze spread among countries like Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. Later, an international governing, FIFA (Fédération internationale de football association) body was also founded to conduct and oversee international competitions.
Soon people caught the football fever and even schools, colleges and universities, societies wanted to construct turf football ground. Whether it is an indoor footbal ground or outdoor ground, or grass football ground, requirements became more specific with time and understanding of each flooring option.
